Macau, University Oriental Asia of Macau; International Relations, Lisbon,
1986; Administration, CENFA - Praia - Cape Verde.
Carried out the following
functions:
- Vice-President/Chairman of the
Parliamentary Group of PAICV;
- Re-elected Deputy of the Nation
and Vice - President/Chairman of Parliamentary Group of PAICV, in
2006;
- Chairman of the Specialized
Commission of the Judicial Matters, Human Rights and Social Communication
(VII Legislature);
- Chairman of the (Parliamentary) Specialized
Commission of Reform of the State, Public Administration, Local Power and
Defence (VI Legislature;
- Deputy of the Nation in the
legislative elections of January 14, 2001, having competed for S. Felipe's
Electoral Circle
- Fogo;
- Delegate officer of the National
Commission of Elections for S. Felipe's Electoral Circle
- Fogo on November 20, 2000, according to announcement nr. 10 and
11/CNE/2000, published in B.O., II Series, nr. 47/2000;
- Substitute Judge of the Tribunal
of the District of 2nd Class of the Fogo by ruling, of June 23, 1998, of the
Superior Council of Magistrate;
- Lawyer (for IPAJ - Cape Verde
21 of March of 1997), being nowadays member of the Lawyers´ Order of Cape
Verde;
- Coordinator of the Cabinet of
Regional Development for the Islands of Fogo
and of Brava to 29/10/97. (*);
- Worked, for two years, for the
African Unit Organization, in Ethiopia.
